It’s a complex undertaking to exploit wind power in the urban environment. For this reason we have developed WindSpot, our proprietary software service that determines optimal wind turbine location and simulates wind energy production on a specific site. WindSpot was the result of our extensive field experience in planning, designing and constructing small wind turbine projects.
WindSpot uses a powerful Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) algorithm that, together with inputs of local wind conditions, calculates the wind energy potential on your property.
Simulation of estimated energy production
WindSpot generates a 3D environment of your building and its surrounding and then processes it together with the wind data. The detailed report points to the optimal location for wind turbines on the roof and also simulates the annual energy production that you can expect.
Equipped with this input, we can evaluate the project feasibility and move confidentially to the installation phase.
